Admission Requirements

Before applying, you must ensure that you meet the minimum academic and statutory requirements for your chosen qualification.

Standard Entry Requirements

A South African National Senior Certificate (NSC) or an endorsed equivalent, endorsed through Universities South Africa.

For undergraduate degrees:
You must have a minimum level 4 (50-59%) in four subjects from the designated list.
Points are allocated for non-designated subjects based on your NSC percentages.
Life Orientation is allocated three points regardless of the pass percentage.

National Senior Certificate Vocational (NCV)

Minimum of 50% in English, Life Orientation and Mathematics/Mathematical Literacy.
Minimum of 70% in four vocational subjects chosen from NSC (V) level four subjects.
The NCV subjects must relate to the degree you intend to pursue.

Postgraduate and Honours Programmes

A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is required. Applicants should consult the institution directly for specific programme requirements.

Pre-degree Foundation Programme

Fees Structure

Important Payment Information

Upon acceptance of the offer to study, students are required to pay a non-refundable, pre-registration fee of R2,500, which is offset against tuition. Fees paid will not be refunded if a student withdraws or leaves the institution without permission.
