Admission Requirements for 2025

TUT follows a structured admission system based on APS scores (Admission Point Score). Each course has its own minimum entry requirements, which determine whether students qualify.

General Admission Criteria:

National Senior Certificate (NSC) or Equivalent – Must have passed Matric with relevant subjects.

APS Score Minimum – Each course requires a different APS score (usually between 19 and 30 points).  Specific Subject Requirements – Engineering courses require Mathematics & Physical Science, while Humanities may require English & Life Orientation.
