What Universities Are Open For Admission In South Africa

University of Cape Town UCT

Applications for admission in 2022 will open on the 1st of May 2021. The National Benchmark Tests (NBTs) will open for Registrations for the 2022 intake on the same date.

On the 1st of August 2021, the National Student Funding Assistance Scheme applications will open.

On the 31st all undergraduate applications will close. Applications for student housing will close on the same date.

University Of Fort Hare UHF Late Application

The University of Fort Hare Applications 2021/2022 is currently open. New Students are required to submit online application forms along with all other necessary documentation before the 30th of September 2021.

Please ensure that you meet the admission requirements for the particular program you intend to study before submitting your application forms. 

Please note that you must pay a fee of R80.00 with your registration. The payment is to be made by bank deposit to Standard Bank, Alice Branch. Branch Code: 05 01 19. Account Name: University of Fort Hare. Reference: Applicants name and surname. The fee is non-refundable.

You will then receive an SMS informing you of the status of your application, and thereafter a letter of confirmation.

University Of The Free State UFS – Late Application

Admissions into the University of the Free State are currently open for the 2021/2022 academic session. The date of closure has not yet been released by the management of the institution.

Please ensure you fill and complete your online registration forms as soon as possible because as soon as the registration portal is closed no further registrations shall be accepted. There will be no late registrations allowed this year.

Before you start the registration process, please scan your identity documents, and if you are still a grade 12 student you should include your school stamp. If you have completed grade 12 you also need a school end certificate. If you are transferring from another institution you need your latest transcript and a certificate of good conduct.

University Of Kwazulu Natal UKZN 

The University of Kwazulu Natal (UKZN) application is done online. Applications are open at the moment. Applications for the Medicine program will close on the 30th of June, while applications for all other programs will close on the 30th of September 2021.

At the closure of the admissions late applications may be considered if entry requirements are met.

If you do not meet the admission requirements to study for a degree you may enroll in one of the foundation courses that will enable you to study for a degree.

University Of Limpopo UL 

The University of Limpopo (UL) is currently receiving applications for the 2021/2022 academic year. The management of the institution has not released the closing dates for applications at the moment, but students had best submit their applications on time because as soon as the applications are closed, no further applications will be considered.

The application process is simple; visit the school website www.ul.ac.za to apply online, fill in your information. You will be given a reference number, but that does not guarantee that your application will be successful.

North West University NWU

North-West University is currently taking fresh students for the 2021/2022 academic year. To register as a student in this institution you need to go online. Click on the new application. Click on create new student number, and then complete all the fields.

Please be advised that creating a student number is not a guarantee that your application will be successful. Upload all necessary documentation: a copy of your ID, copy of your academic record, available grade 12 marks, or a copy of your matric certificate.

University Of Pretoria  

The University of Pretoria is currently accepting new students for its degree programs. Closing dates are as follows Education: 30th September, Economic and Management Sciences: 30th of September, Faculty of Engineering and Built Sciences 31st of May. 

To apply to the University of Pretoria you will need to have an email address and an internet connection. Visit the school website, click on student registration, complete the registration in full. You will be sent a student number via email. Please note that the student number does not indicate that the application is successful. 

The Registration fee at the University of Pretoria is R300. Please note that this fee is non-refundable.
